Florida {Part Two}

.
have a great weekend, enjoy the pictures... much love!

Flagler Beach is so beautiful! I could have spent hours shooting this bridge. We don't have colors like these all in one place out in Washington - brilliant blue, deep green, white, aqua, sandy brown... Well, maybe on the coast. IF it's sunny.

It's so awesome... mile after mile of this coastline is so beautiful!

While I was taking pictures of the bridge, my brother, Joe, found this starfish! It was so amazing. The last time I've touched a real starfish was when we lived on Guam eight years ago. I used to collect the blue sea creatures and then throw them all back into the water one by one. (starfish in Guam are sometimes blue - and they're amazing!!)

Photobucket
As I was taking pictures of the starfish, a lady walked up and asked to see it. She was impressed that we were able to find a live one - she said she'd lived in the area for nearly twenty years and hadn't ever seen one!

As you can see... we really had fun playing with the starfish! =)

The next day, we drove down to Cocoa Beach to go to the famous Ron Jon Surf Shop! Definitely a Florida tradition for our family.

I wonder what the people inside thought.... =)

I wish I could surf!! I'd get a brilliant kelley green longboard with a bright fuschia stripe. Just to be different.

After we'd enjoyed Ron Jon's for quite a bit, we headed over to Cocoa Beach... the technically "beach" part of it, anyway.

You should have seen all the seagulls! (heard them, too...)

That evening, we scouted out a UF store filled to the brim with blue and orange. Mom went to UF (University of Florida) so we're all fierce Gators.

Photobucket
And then we took an "explore," since it was dark... and warm... and breezy... and the idea of an oceanside stroll at midnight just seemed so right. I live for moments like that.

Photobucket
So much stuff in Florida is outside. Way awesome!! I practically live outside when the weather is good - and, as everyone knows - weather is always good in Florida!

And that concludes part two! Part three coming up!

Hello! I have been following your blog for a little while and I am serious that I did not copy your blog title! LOL!
Anyway, you were just in Cocoa Beach, very cool! I live about 10 minuets from there. And I go to church at First Baptist Cocoa Beach, the one with the really high steeple, in case you might have passed it. :)
I can't wait to see more pictures!!

Yes, we look like fierce gators, like the one in the seventh pic, there. That's really Abby, and what happens to her in the UF store.

The weather is indeed always nice in Florida...except in the middle of a hurricane. Then, you would much rather be in Cleveland or Cincinnati or Boot Hill…somewhere like that, far and away and safe from the nice weather they have in Florida. LOL!

Flagler Beach is where I live! I've been to the Flagler pier countless times, so it's neat to see your pictures and know you've been there! :)

Your attention to detail never ceases to amaze me, gorgeous photos!! Love your new design, the header is adorable and your "the girl behind the camera" page is adorable. I wish I had that many cute photos of myself, haha!
