Hope you all had a terrific 4th! I sure did. My family had a cookout with most of the famlies from our church and a handful of neighbors. It was a lot of fun! Here are a few pictures of my day! Hope you enjoy.

My {vain} attempts at photographing amateur fireworks.
Umm... is that a... um... a... a firework? I think it's supposed to be a firework... but I'm not sure. {at least it looked like a firework before being captured on my camera.}
After several attempts and failures at photographing fireworks, I turned my attention to the easier and more convenient sparklers.

Beautiful pictures! I especially like the "star-spangled pie" one! Looks good....
The sparkler pics are nice too- I pretty much gave up trying to get a perfect firework shot...it was much more fun just to move my camera around really fast and see what interesting light patterns I could get! :P

The pie with its center cut in the shape of a star is a great idea. It reminds me of the pizza we ate on the Island of Yap. The pizza was made with a whole in the center to look like their stone money.

Okay, I am absolutely in LOVE with your bike. Where did you get it? lol
Your pics are great as always. I especially love the bike one and the last one. For fireworks, try speeding your...sheesh, just lost the word. Anyways, speed it up just until you get it where you need it. I do it the hard way, take the pic, look at it, adjust the speed, take it again,ect. Yeah, anyways, I will quit blabbing now. Cool pics! ttyl
